What is We Weave Together 2026?
We Weave Together is a cultural weaving program designed to bring Aboriginal women together for connection, creativity, and time on Country.
Guided by Aboriginal women and supported by community partners, the program offers weaving workshops, storytelling circles, meals, accommodation, and a culturally safe space for women to connect and learn.

Is there a cost to me?
$50 per person
Includes: all workshops, weaving materials, meals, and accommodation.
Transport is not included and must be arranged by your self or the organisation you are traveling with. .
Our Facilitator’s
Kylie Caldwell
Bundjalung
Kylie Caldwell is a weaver and fibre artist committed to reviving and continuing traditional cultural practices passed down by her ancestors over thousands of years.
Guided by Bundjalung Jargoon (Country), Kylie brings ancient knowledge into contemporary practice through weaving and eco dyeing, deepening cultural expression, creativity, and connection.
Kylie will be facilitating a eco dyeing session at We Weave Together 2026.
Josie Atkinson-Flanders
Gumbaynggirr
Josie has practiced yoga for over 30 years and meditation for over 15 years and has completed the first 100 hours of Yoga Teacher through the Bunyarabugulma Movement First Nations Collective.
Josie was raised with alternative and spiritual perspectives on healing illness and has practiced holistic health and healing throughout her adulthood. Her education includes a degree in Aboriginal Health and Community Development and she worked in the space of health and education for over 20 years.
Patricia Mcinherny
Birpai/Dthungutti
Patricia Mcinherny is a Birpai/Dthungutti woman who has a teaching background, now solely sharing culture through the practise of weaving.
Her love of the use of lomandra and other natural resources that she collects and processes has allowed her to travel to workshops and exhibit her culture while exploring her imagination and contemplations.
Trish travels Country, while caring for and collecting for educational purposes. Life on the back roads of Country full-time.
Aunty Rhonda Radley
Birrbay/Dhanggati
Known in the community as Dr Aunty Rhonda Radley or Anjilkurri, a proud Birrbay/Dhanggati woman. She has over 40 years’ experience working with Aboriginal people in education, land rights, cultural and heritage, caring for Country, women’s business.
As an active Aboriginal Elder, Aunty Rhonda support the revival of culture through language and practices. She uses different medium such as poetry, dance, song, felting, weaving and painting to share stories. What matter to her is her connection to Country, community, family and to live a purposeful life.
